Membership in the Friends of the Grosse Pointe Public Library is open to everyone. The benefits of membership include: "Friends Day" at the Library. On the first Thursday of each month, video and DVD rentals at the Library will be FREE to Friends members Free attendance at our events including the Classics Books Lecture Series, our Annual Meeting, and our Friends and Families events Friends Only Night at Used Book Sales before they open to the general public Early admittance to Friends' events, such as the Halloween costume sale and bookstore sales Receipt of the "Friends News" newsletter The opportunity to participate in volunteer activities Meeting your neighbors and making new friends The satisfaction of supporting your Library and your community If you are a Friends member, we encourage you to consider giving your time as a Director or as a volunteer. The time involved is modest, but the rewards are great.
